"No. Not this time, dammit. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Mary says, angrily. Her tail twitches about in agitation and her ears flatten against her head slightly.
"Now now, young lady, calm down."
"Calm down?! You messed with my brain! You changed the way I acted without my permission! If you're selling crap that's gonna do that to people, you better tell them ahead of time!"
"Alright, alright, point taken. It was very unfair of me to do that to you. Which is why this time, I'm not selling you any magical trinkets or anything."
"You're damn right you're not. 'Cause I'm not buying." Mary snorts, turning around and starting to walk away from the old woman.
"I'm selling a vacation to the Serengeti." The woman calls out after her.
This makes Mary's ears perk up as she stops dead in her tracks.
