She checks her phone. If humans don't have the parts to reproduce like they did in her old world she wonders how she, and everyone else, would reproduce here. Looking on Wikipedia for human reproduction she sees that humans, much like fish, lay small redish eggs.
Just like fish the eggs come out of a female urethra unfertilized, and a male will come along to fertilize it by shooting sperm onto it. Unlike fish, as the eggs grow they compete with eachother for size and space until only one or two remain, meaning it's still likely only one child will be born from fertilization, with two being as common as twins were when people had sex. And none of it is sexual at all. This seems to be how all mammals reproduce more or less in this world.
It makes her happy to know that along with never having to worry about sex again, she won't ever worry about periods either.
She sees a picture of a young woman laying eggs, naked, with her crotch shown off for the world to see. There's something about seeing a woman with her legs spread and not feeling anything that makes Ashley feel weird. There's breasts, a healthy fit body, a cute face, everything that should turn her on in a girl, but the feeling isn't there. It's not even like she doesn't feel right, if she was still her old self it would feel right, her body and mind just don't have access to last anymore. It's not just that she won't have sex again, she can't even want it anymore.
