While Maestro was off starting his new human life with Chad and Bruno, and Damian was dealing with his new existence as an ape within a zoo, the monkey paw was left unattended, on a bench. Left for its next owner to come by. Bruno took it and saw the digits. unfold, ready for a new master or family members or group to make their wishes. Even though these wishes seldom turn out well. Yet Bruno knew that the damn magical artefact was indestructible, and that any attempt in destroying it could backfire dangerously and be quite lethal or nearly so. Bruno was tempted to use a wish to make Chad forget all about his horrid trauma but he was wary of using this fishy object. He rather make use of his own talents in magic to help him. Indeed, he knew for sure it was better for him to take charge of Chad's mental state. The Monkey Paw had done enough damage. To them all, anyway. So they all went out in the distance, determined in leaving the damn magical object far away from them, as far away as possible. The bonus being that Damian would be punished and remain a gorilla for good. Who would care about a gorilla in a zoo once that person had the Monkey Paw. No one, of course. So the jerk was going to endure something that did not look better than prison, at least regarding some aspects.
Meanwhile, the vile magical object awaited patiently its next owner or owners upon its bench, ready to grant new wishes...
