Ty asked Lisa, "Would you like to go out to a movie?"
"Sure, if there's anything interesting playing," Lisa replied. She looked up movie listings on her phone, and they chose one.
"And what kind of car would you like to drive, to take us to the theater?" Ty asked.
"Um, I don't know," she said. "I haven't given it a lot of thought."
"Well," said Ty, "I'd like to be something a little sporty, that hopefully you'd enjoy driving. How about a Z4 convertible?"
"That sounds fun," she said. "But how will you transform back, when we get to the theater, without anyone seeing?"
"I've been thinking about that, and at first it had me perplexed," Ty admitted. "But I think what I'll do is wait for you to park me, then make a duplicate of myself, in human form, to watch the movie with you. After the movie, when we get back into my car, I'll merge my human form back into it again."
"Someone still might see you appear or disappear," Lisa protested.
"They might," Ty agreed, "but it's not as likely to cause a commotion as a car appearing or disappearing."
"And registration and insurance? Do we have to go through all that VIN and title stuff again?"
"I think we can skip that for now. If you get pulled over, and they have you get out of the car, I'll transform myself back to human, and simultaneously teleport us home. They'll freak out a bit, but what can they do?"
"Doesn't seem like a great plan," Lisa said, a bit disapproving. "But I don't want you to do the VIN thing again, for what isn't even a real car."
"What do you mean? I'll be a completely real car!"
"Ty, you know exactly what I mean," she said.
Lisa told her parents that they were going out to a movie, and that she was going to move Maria's car to the street so Ty could change in the garage. "Have a good time," Diego said. Ty texted June to let her know their plans, as well.
Lisa transformed back out of her aquarium form, and looked down at her bikini top. "Say, Ty," she asked, "Can you give me the ability to transform my clothing?"
"Oh, certainly," Ty said. "I should have thought of that. Try it now!"
Lisa's bikini top turned into a nice blouse. She opened the garage door, and moved Maria's car. When she came back into the garage, she closed the door, and told Ty, "You can transform now."
Ty stood where Maria's car had been, and suddenly he vanished, replaced by the Z4 he had suggested. Lisa opened the garage door, then opened the car door and got in. She didn't see any key fob, but pressed the start button, and Ty started right up.
