It was getting dark again, but this time Jared had no concerns about heading back to the barn with the cows. After mounting six of the females today, he was drained both physically and literally - though his huge bull balls were already building up tomorrow's supply.
Actually, he didn't have any concerns at all until he was locked back in his stall and chewing on fresh hay. Jared came awake in mid-chew, remembering the day's activities clearly, but not sure how long he had been here. A half-dozen! He remembered ech cow as a distinct scent that somehow equated to a bond of some sort. Herd-mate? Family?
Mr. Thomas and Jarred's father came in and looked at him from the other side of the stall. The tone of thier voices was happy, and he felt content in having pleased his master/owner.
WHAT!? Jared shook his head and bellowed in fear. His sudden reaction caused some nervous words, then laughter from the two men. That was his father, not master/owner. He strained to hear what they were saying, but could not make out anything. The voices were quite clear, but the sounds meant nothing to him. He had lost the ability to understand human speech!
What did this mean? He was back in the original 7-day wish, and should wake up in a few more days as his human self again. Would he be Jared the boy in mind and body, or Jared the Bull in a boy's shape? If things worked the same way going back, he would probably think like a bull at first, and slowly regain his human thoughts.
That would be difficult - and he wondered if he would completely shake off all the bull? So far, he remained partly human in awareness. Would he bear some deformity or mental quirk from his long stay as a bovine?
All he could do was wait and see. The bull's life style was already too ingrained to fight. He would be back in the pasture tomorrow, doing what came naturally. And the day after, and the day after. And then he would wake up human again - at least in body. The future should have scared him, but Jared the Bull couldn't concentrate that long, and drifted back into shewing his cud.
