"Let's get to the library, we'll be safe there!" you tell Becky as you run.
"What the fuck are you talking about?" she asks you as though you've gone crazy.
"If you're a hungry werewolf, aren't you going to go for the crowd, all the unsuspecting fresh meat?" you ask.
"Wolves are pack animals, they tend to pick off the weak ones and the loners," she replies, pulling a rare bit of useful trivia out of her head.
"Look, just trust me, okay?" you tell her as you reach the doors, thankful that you haven't heard any more howling or felt the hot breath of a pursuing monster on your neck.
You enter the library moments later, which much to your relief is a very well lit building, though like most of the town is quite deserted. At least that's what you think, until you hear the soft cough of an elderly woman, sitting at the checkout desk.
"Can I help you, girls?" she asks in a kindly voice.
