The man looked a little annoyed, but then shrugged. "OK. I'll be back in a minute."
Ty watched the centaur look around the busy stable. Some of the stable hands were muttering among themselves, and a couple seemed to intentionally lead horses past him so he had to keep moving around to stay out of the way.
Mike was garing at the back end of one of the pushy stallions when he felt something land on his equine back. Twisting around, he saw one of the stable hands bending quickly to fasten the straps of a large saddle. "Hey! What the Hell do you think you're doing!?" He kicked at the kid and tried to shake off the saddle before the boy could tighten the strap, but the kid was obviously used to dealing with uncooperative animals. He yanked back on the leather strap as he jumped out of the way of Mike's hoof, cinching the saddle in place.
At that moment, Mike found he could not move. He wasn't frozen, exactly. Instead, he had assumed a relaxed standing position. His tail flicked at flies, and he could turn his head to look around. However, he could not resist or even try getting away. The saddle was making him behave as an obedient horse!
