"Shit..let's sit down and have a drink," you tell Becky, "I need something to calm my nerves."
The bartender saunters over to you, looking a bit tired. "No phones, don't even ask," she mutters to you.
"Yeah...we figured, actually," you say, noting the bartender seems relieved by this.
"Nice to see that someone has some sense," the bartender says. "What can I get for you?"
"Beer," Becky blurts out.
"Becky!" you hiss at her. "She's kidding," you tell the bartender, "We're not old enough to drink."
"Maybe on the mainland you're not, but you're on the island. We have our own laws out here," the bartender says.
"Great," Becky replies, "I'll have a Bud."
"Sorry, ladies, but we only serve one brand of beer here. It's a local microbrew called 'Lupinbrau'. It's like nothing you've ever tasted before."
"We'll have a couple," the other girls say, walking up to the bar. The bartender grabs a couple of mugs, pulling on the tap, sliding the girls their beers.
"On the house, since you've all had such a rough night," she says. "How about you two?" she asks you and Becky, "Want a couple Lupinbrau's?"
