Get Book....... Of Mind!

You look down at the floor to see what it is that you had tripped over. On the ground, was a purple book with a picture of an eye carved into the cover.

The Book of Mind.....

Such an idea is foolish, but.... What could it hurt? You take a look inside of the book.


I. False Memory
This spell allows you to plant a false memory in a target's head. The memory could be of a past event, of a relationship they once had with a person. A warning though, stronger minds may realize the memory does not fit with their normal ones, and as a result may resist this spell. To cast the spell, speak the command word 'false' and focus on the memory you wish to create while pointing at the target. If no target is selected, you will recieve the false memory. The spell uses a mild amount of energy.


II. Memory Erase
This spell will allow you to erase select memories from a person's mind. This could come in useful if someone knows something they shouldn't, wants to forget a traumitizing event, or maybe you just learned something you were better off not knowing. To cast the spell, use the command word 'erase' while focusing on the memory you wish wiped while pointing at the target. If no target is selected, you will erase one of your own memories. The spell requires only a mild amount of energy.


III. Amnesia
This is a stronger version of Memory Erase. While Memory Erase erases a select memory, amnesia will erase nearly if not every memory of the target. How much of their memory that is retained is based on their own power. A strong will powered individual may remember the basics of how to get along in the world, but not who they are. While a weaker person may forget even simple things such as how to speak. To cast the spell speak the command word 'amnesia' while pointing at the target. If no target is selected, you will erase your own memories. This spell requires a large amount of energy.


IV. Illusion
This spell causes false sensory imput for one subject. With it, you can make them see, smell, hear, or even taste something that is not really there. To use this spell, speak the command word 'illusion' while pointing at the target, and concentrating on the illusion you wish them to percieve. If no target is selected, you will be under the effects of the illusion yourself. This spell requires a mild amount of energy.


V. Greater Illusion
This spell works exactly like illusion, except instead of targetting an individual you select an area, and all who enter that area will percieve the illusion. The command words are 'greater illusion' and the spell requires a large amount of energy. To cast it you must focus on the illusion and where you want the illusion to appear.


VI. Telepathy
This spell allows you to form and communicate through a temporary mental link with another individual. This link can not be used to take over a mind, but if used by a skilled caster you can use it to convince others to do your bidding. Not everyone is used to voices in their head. The spell can also be used to talk to alleys not just enemies and strangers. This spell has no command word and uses little energy. Instead, it is cast just by focusing on the one you wish to contact.


V. Deja Vu
This spell will cause one to see links and simularities between a current event and a past, even if they have nothing to do with each other. This spell can be useful if someone has a past event that traumitized them, and you want to scare them, or if you believe that two events may be connected, the Deja Vu may help you fight a pattern. To active the spell, the command word is 'deja vu' and must be spoked while pointing at the target of the spell. If no target is selected, you will recieve a case of deja vu yourself. This spell requires only a mild amount of energy.


VI. Wisdom
This spell allows you to temporarily make yourself or a target smarter. The benifits of this are obvious and this can be a useful spell in the right circumstances. The spell command word is 'wisdom' and to cast it, speak the command word while pointing at the target. If no target is designated you will be the target. The spell last for about ten minutes. It requires an anverage amount of energy to cast.


VII. Foolishness
This spell allows you to make one temporarily dumber. By speaking the command word 'fool' and pointing at a target, you can make one foolish enough to forget what they were doing, do something they know they shouldn't, and be persuaded easily. Though, you must be careful to designate a target, or you will fall victim to it yourself. The spell requires an average amount of energy to cast.


VIII. Mind Scan
While telepathy allows you to communicate with another, mind scan allows you to read another's thoughts without being detected or sending any message yourself. Warning, if one is aware of your attempt before, they can foil your attempt at reading their mind, by trying to blank their mind or fill it with useless thoughts. However, if caught off guard, it can be used to learn numerous secrets. To cast the spell speak the command word 'scan' while the person who's thoughts you wish to scan are within sight. It requires a mild amount of energy.


IX. Motivate
This spell is not mind control. However, it can be used to make someone feel more or less motivated. If they're unsure about doing something, you can use it to give them a little encouragement in the way you would like. The spell is cast with the command word 'motivate' while pointing at the target and thinking of if you want them more or less motivated. This spell will be cast on yourself if you do not select a target. It requires a mild amount of energy.


X. Mind Destruction
This frightening spell freezes all activity in the mind. Death follows in seconds. A target of this spell can not talk, can not breathe, can not control their body in anyway. They can not even think. All who this spell is used on die almost imediately. The spell's command word is 'destruction' and you must point at the target while speaking the command word. If you do not point at a target, you will kill yourself. The spell requires an incredible amount of energy.
