Bryan strained to overturn the glass, although it did him no good.
"It's too heavy! Shit, I've got to get away from this giant creep!"
Bryan stared through the distorted glass walls. He saw an array of
objects strewn across the desktop, many bigger than him. He also saw
that Derrick had left his computer on.
"He's logged on," Bryan noted with jubilation. If he could get free,
he could send an email or maybe even an instant message, pleading for
someone to rescue him.
He pushed against the glass, grunting from the extertion. "Damn!"
Bryan admitted in despair. "It's too heavy."
How humiliating. Unable to budge a glass he could once have held
easily in one hand.
Suddenly, he felt the slightest of vibrations. They steadily began to
increase. He yelped in surprise when Derrick returned, stomping loudly
across the floor of his office.
"Told you I'd be back," Derrick said, viewing his prize beneath the
upturned glass. Now, I have a few questions to ask you, little guy."
