"What?" asked Lina.
"We've been trying to live like human beings with fur and claws. We're not. We're part cat, and that part is a hunter and killer."
"Uh. . .you're starting to freak me out here."
"Smell it, catgirls. Taste the richness of the blood. You know how great it felt when I was digging my claws into that fool's fat belly? I'm not saying hunt humans--we're part human too--but I'm sick of that insipid mush humans call food. I want raw, bleeding meat."
Amy gave a sudden pounce, and her front paw landed on a squirrel. She easily broke its neck, ripped open its belly with her claws, and began to feast.
