"So what do we do now?" asked Debra. Lisa sighed before answering, looking quite tired.
She glanced at Heather and Dita. "You young ladies need to stay here and try to continue to relax. Get some sleep, if possible". Lisa touched Debra lightly on the shoulder, "I will call Solange back, and we can meet over at her conference room. You should call Brenda and Ebony and tell them to us there as well, at my urgent request."
Debra stood up to follow Lisa into the master bedroom. Heather buried the side of her face into her palm and leaned into the couch with her elbow as she stared silently at Dita shrugging her shoulders.
Lisa's voiced echoed from the bedroom, "I meant what I said girls, stay here, until I tell you it's ok to leave. If for some reason you don't hear from me or Debra before school on Monday, you're going to have to miss a day."
Dita and Heather looked up as the voice approached them, their moms had changed from pajama pants to jeans. Debra brushed both of their checks, "We love you, and we will clear this all up, I promise."
Heather furrowed her eyebrows, even more uncomfortable with the changes happening to her and around her, "Ok, Mom. Love you too, " she said as she watched Lisa and her mother walk out the door.
