Ken, or what used to be Ken, stood dumbfounded. He tried to speak but he could only bray.
Do you like what you have done? asked the voice.
Anna was a little frightened, but at the same time, she was giggling. It was funny to see Ken turn into a donkey. He deserved it for all the mean things he did. But what about her parents? What will they think when they see their son like this?
Don't worry. I'll take care of that, said Circe.
Mr. Nelson came into the room.
"Anna, is something wrong? I thought I heard screaming."
Just then he saw Ken.
"Now Anna, you know your donkey can't come in the house."
"But that's not a donkey, it's Ken."
"Oh, so you've finally named him. Well, I think Ken is a good name for a donkey. But he really shouldn't be in the house. Now be a good girl and take him back to the stables."
Her parents had forgotten about Ken. They thought he was always a donkey. Ken was not taking this well. He was clopping about and braying nonstop. He was scared. Maybe Ken is an ass, but is this going too far?
