A couple days later, Esmeralda contemplated her problem.
"I must get Duncan back, and punish him for defying me," she thought.
Queen Olga had died in her sleep a few years ago, so Esmeralda was free to pursue her demented revenge.
Or was she? While she was mixing a potion, sure to turn Duncan back into a wolf for good, and a young one at that, a cloud of a ectoplasmic substance suddenly appeared.
"ES-MER-AL-DA!" boomed the cloud.
The cloud took shape, and amid a shining white light, appeared the figure of the old queen.
"I WARNED YOU," said the ghost of Olga.
"I-I'm sorry o'Queen," Esmeralda stuttered.
Her potion disappeared in a cloud of smoke, and so did Queen Olga.
Esmeralda pursued other interests besides revenge on Duncan, and Duncan and his wife eventually forgot the strange meeting at the Hungary House.
And none of them, ever met again.
The End (No really, it is)
