As Kat cast the spell Dan moved over to a mirror to watch the change take place. As the strange warm light engulfed his body he lost all sensation in his body leaving a tingling feeling such as that of a foot falling asleep. Looking over at is reflection as the light disappeared he saw something startling.
"Hey it didn't work!" Dan yelled at Kat
"Shhhh sometimes it takes time" Kat tried calming him down as she picked up her spell book and began flipping the pages. Dan paced nervously in the room. The strange tingling all over his body was making him feel very awkward. After pacing the room a couple times the majority of his skin no longer tingled but was instead replaced by a sudden warmth. The heat increased and he started sweating Dark spots appeared on his shirt as he continued to sweat. Taking off his shirt to try and cool himself off he noticed the coarse dark red hairs that now were growing from his arms, chest, an from below his waist slowly spreading across his body.
The tingling in his body wasn't going away in fact since he noticed it it seemed to increase in potency. The changes continued as Dan excitingly walked over to the mirror as he watched the other changes begin. The hair on his head had changed to, it had become thicker and coarse causing it to spike up. Not only did it now look wild but his hairline had started creeping down his back. The changes started speeding up as his ears began to stretch and round off. The dark red fur spread wildly across the rest of his torso, his sideburns changed color thickening, and the tingling had centered on several locations on his body. His nose felt like a bug had just flown up it as it began to shrink and push out causing him to give a snort. His toes began to elongate resembling fingers but still retaining that distinguishable toe look. Dan knew what was coming next as the tingling at the base of his spine increased dramatically.
It felt like his skin was stretching and peing tugged on at the same time as he noticed the a lump form on the back of his jeans slowly growing and sneaking down his leg and tickling his ankle. As the changes completed the tingling dissipated leaving his tail feeling extremely cramped trapped in his pants.
Jen continued flipping the pages not noticing what was going on as Dan was struggling to make a hole in his pants so his tail could get out. Struggling for a few seconds he almost fell down trying to make a hole.
"Um Jen I'm sure that books a little interesting but I need some help here" Jen looked up for the first time and saw the anthro-monkey standing in her room. He resembled what Dan used to look like but there were many significant changes.
"Dan?"
"Yes its me give me a hand here my tail is killing me!"
"Oh right, wow I half expected the spell not to work..." Kat raised her want and pointed it at Dans ass.
"Wait Kat your still new at that don't-" It was too late Kat had already waved the wand causing Dan's tail to explode though the back of his jeans pointing strait out. His tail relaxed and slowly fell to the floor it was a odd sensation having a tail but he was beginning to get used to it.
Meanwhile Kat's mom had gone off looking for a present for Kat for her sweet 16 looking around she thought about what to get her. Realizing no matter what she gave her daughter with a flick of her wand she could change it she grabbed a collar pointing the wand at the tag sparks flew out and wrote "Dan" on the gold label. Now to see what shes up to with Dan she said snapping her fingers she disappeared in a poof of black smoke!
