Ken's thoughts were very mixed up. The boy John actually preferred being a horse for his life rather than a human boy. He would prefer to give up his Dad, Mother, family, and friends. He wished to live as a horse and stallion. In time the animal instinct would wear away the human rational thought and John will become the true beast of the field.
Ken thought how he had stolen this boy's future by changing him into a grown animal. John did not have the time for experiance to mature.
Looking at John standing there as buckskin coloured horse, prancing around the boy was filled with boyish energy and equine sensualness.
Ken turned to the other boy, "what is your name if I may ask?"
"Sean Morrison, and I thank you for returning me back to myself, It was disgusting being under him."
"I suggest you run home, and we will leave John to his choosen fate."
"NO, NO, I can't do that, John is my half brother. I can't go home without him, Mother just won't understand that he is a horse, and lives here now."
Ken turned to the Buckskin as the prancing horse suddenly stood quiet.
Clutching the locket Ken wished, "Change this horse to the boy he was this morning, and give him the ability to become a pony stallion off and on for the rest of his life. Also give Sean Morrison the same ability so that brother's need never be apart."
As Sean's face brightened a noise in the stall turned both Ken and Sean to see his brother John crawl out on all fours, but human as before.
As both boys stood facing Ken, He said, " I am sorry for what was done. Today I have matured' through this ordeal, realize that my power can be dangerous. Now both go home and live the boyish life. As brothers be together, appreicate the gift of transformation and use it in a wise manor."
Sean turned and ran out of the barn, but John walked close and hugged Ken. "Thank you for a very interesting day, and thank you for the ability to return to a very comfortable way of life, Bye!"
The boys now gone Ken was alone with seven mares and a stallion. Tonight he would stay in the barn, smelling the musky ordors and thinking. It might be better to just walk away and leave all as before, but I like this guy Todd and I like horses so I'll stay longer.
