Wren and James pulled up to the shop in Chinatown. They came to the door, and surprisingly, found it was open.
"Well, shall we?" James asked. He opened the door for Wren. Wren/Will was excited to get back to being a guy.
They went to the front desk and met the same old man. He had their back to them and seemed to be mixing something behind the counter.
"Uh... Hello. I was in here the other day..."
The old man, startled, turned around so fast that the contents in the vial he was mixing splashed all over the counter. A few drops landed on Wren unnoticed, immediately dissolving into her skin.
"Oh, hello. Forgive me. I didn't mean to startle you." Will said.
"No no no. Tis quite alright. I know why you are here. You want to find an antidote for your current situation." the old man stated.
"Yes, how did you know tha..."
"Believe me, I know. It is my work. However, I regret to tell you that no such antidote exists."
"What?" Will yelled.
"You've got to be kidding!" James bellowed, secretly excited about the situation.
"However, I have been working on one for just this kind of situation. It will only take a little more time to finish. I will get in contact with you once it is finished. However, feel free to stop in at any time and browse my other wares." the old man enticed.
Wren, disappointed, just wanted to go home. "I think we'll just go ahead and head back home for the time being."
James understood, and walked Wren back to the car. "Well, it sounds like you might have some time before he comes with something. How about we go and enjoy your time as a woman. Its not everyday a guy gets to experience life as a woman."
Wren, still very much open to James' suggestions because of the first potion, cheered up at that thought and hopped into the driver's seat.
It wasn't until they were halfway home that she began to feel her skin tingle for a few seconds before the feeling vanished.
