"Counter!" Ruby yells fizzling the spell.
"Hmmm this will definitely be harder to beat you both then I thought, but I don't think you understand the futility of your actions. Greater Illusion!"
"Counter, again!" Ruby yells
"I'm sorry dear but that spell only shields spells targeting one of you, and since this effects everyone I'm afraid your spell is wasted" Raxi says as his form begins to blur.
"where did he go?" you yell
"I don't know he just disappeared"
"Its a illusion hes still there we just cant see him" Ruby says frantically.
"Your right there young witch" Raxi's voice bombards them from all directions, "but where am I is the 'real' question?"
Raxi says laughing maniacally
"I'll find him if hes here" John says waving his arms wildly searching the room.
"Your efforts are useless my illusion grows in strength as you become lost in it" on queue the walls of the room disappear leaving the three of them in a endless abyss, or at least what appears to be one.
