Dan felt as though his pants were falling down. He instinctively pulled them back up, jamming them against his growing tail. Pain shot through it as it became cramped in the confines of the cargo pants.
Dan's mom knocked on the door, and Dan quickly buttoned the pants; his tail began to push out again as it twisted its way down a pant leg.
He opened the dressing room door and saw his mom standing there, a slightly worried look on her face.
"Do they fit?"
"Yes, ma'am," Dan tried not to flinch as his already cramped tail grew a couple of inches longer.
"Do you like them?"
"Yes, ma'am," Dan took a step back to try to allow the tail more room without showing the large lump in the back of his pants to his mother; luckily, the pants were a loose fit.
"Then take them off and we'll buy them."
"No, ma'am," Dan didn't want to have to try and get back into his old pants, "I like them. I want to wear them out of the store."
"Well, alright," Dan's mom looked at him oddly for a moment before turning to walk to the front of the store. Dan took a step back and grabbed his old pants from out of the dressing room.
As he carefully made his way to the front of the store, he was overcome by an oddly pleasurable sensation. He had to stop walking as the tail grew a thick coat of fur, and the tuft at the end grew thicker than before.
"Are you coming?" His mom asked from the front of the store.
"I'm fine," Dan felt a rumbling in his throat, "I'm okay, mom."
Dan's back was starting to cramp up. He was starting to worry about his transformation.
