Dan’s heart was pounding. He felt like he was hit by a truck. He slowly opened his eyes to see Wendy talking to a werewolf. He didn’t understand how she was still alive, but he assured himself that he will fix that.
Their backs were turned away from Dan, obviously thinking he was unconscious or dead. He motions his arm silently toward the silver switch blade tucked under his wrist watch. He winced, his vision blurred as excruciating pain flooded him. His left collar bone was snapped, but he didn’t make a sound. With painstaking slowness, he unfastens his watch. The blade falls in his hand.
“We need to leave,” the crimson werewolf near Wendy growled. Dan rose to his feet. Then the werewolf perked its ears.
Lisa heard footsteps. Someone was coming up to the entrance. Wendy heard it with her heightened hearing as well. They turn to see Vix running in.
Dan couldn’t risk the moment. He was already on his feet. He starts to charge at Wendy wielding his switch blade.
Vix had noticed Dan getting up. “Wendy!” she yelled as she pulls out her crossbow while running full speed at her, drawing the attention of the entire pack.
Lisa immediately moved to protect Wendy, baring her fangs at Vix.
Debra along with several other coven members sees Dan and started to move forward from across the room.
Vix fires darts from her crossbow.
Lisa instinctively reacts to the assault, turns around, and covers Wendy with her body.
Dan feels several stinging sensations throughout his body, but continues to blindly rush forward.
Wendy couldn’t see what was going on. She was held tightly by Lisa. Her face pressed up against Lisa’s fur.
Within a split second, Vix slams into the pair as Dan embeds his knife into something soft.
