"We'll have to get you dressed quickly, it's your first day of school and mom ain't home right now, so I'll help you with that." You react with disgust, "No! I don't wanna go to school, I know all that stuff already and it's much better here at home!" She takes your hand and starts leading you back to your room, "Well, I'm glad you like it here already but you really have little choice in whether you go to school or not." In a blink, you are pulled out of your pajamas and into a shirt and skirt, and she neatly ties your hair together in a ponytail. She finishes by putting socks and mary janes on your feet, and on the way out she puts a bright pink winter coat on you. Must be cold outside.
As soon as she's done getting her own stuff for class as well, she says "I can walk along with you for a bit until your school, then I'll have to head on to my own school. I think you'll be able to find your class once you're there." You grumpily walk alongside her in the winter cold, still not believing you're actually doing this, but the colorful backpack you're carrying confirms it: you're gonna be in elementary school for years to come. When the two of you reach your new school, she says "I'll have to go now, but I'll be back here at the gate when your day's done." You start getting a bit fearful and lonely now, a total stranger to this new place with lots of other kids waiting for class to start...
