Just junk, and with a casual look at your newest find the thought of giving it a toss back into the hole in the ground it came from is about to happen when...
A sharp edge is enough to cut your finger, and so then bleeding your inner workings become infected by what was in that can.
Instantly your knees weaken, buckling you fall from standing to kneeling on the ground.
The small amount of pain coming from the cut finger now sweeps up and envelopes your whole being. A burning sensation it is, making you sweat, and your head to ache.
The head ache has an added twist as from somewhere deep within your pondering thoughts comes a voice; it crying and weeping like someone cast into the fires of Hell.
You close your eyes and with so doing comes then a vision of the calling individual, she is seemingly in agony, screaming, and pleading to someone as not to do what is for her something terrible.
Suddenly the voice and a picture of what she saw becomes as if a rolling and moving picture in the back of your mind.
You see open sea, waves and then the green water of some great ocean.
In the water's depths swims this beautiful creature, she is a mermaid, lovely to the extreme and alluring you to feel yourself becoming aroused.
She is happy living her life as such a wondrous sea creature, alluring some men to join her, as well as damning a few to live the life of a fish in the sea.
Her horror begins with a fishing boat, their nets, and she is like all her friends; are caught and hoisted aboard the boat.
Once she is discovered as the men unload their nets, she is then grabbed, fondled and accosted by the boisterous men.
Anger at the men is returned when she is kissed and fondled, her magical ring becomes a weapon of great power. As One fool man grabs her into a bear hug and tries for a kiss, she presses her ruby ring into the flesh of his nose; sending a man screaming of agony to lean over the boat's railing and puke out his daily dinner.
His friends go to his aid and try to offer the man comfort and their alliance.
Yet his mind is a blur, he can think of only one thing and that is to jump into the sea.
He tries to commit himself to the deep, wrestling with his friends he would leap over the boat rail and give of his body and life to something demanding his virtual doom.
He turns and tosses his gaze upon the mermaid, she looking at him and from within her mind she controls everything he is and wants.
"You damned creature, what, God in heaven please, but what are you doing to me!" The man cries out as if he like one of his fish were being then cut open and gutted.
All the men stand away from him seeing his skin changing color, turning a dank reddish brown, as his eyes swell and body sinks limp to the ship's wood and seas swept deck.
Gradually his face changes, as what was his body then resembles but some brown sack tied to the back of his changing head. His mouth becomes a hard beak, like unto a bird but not quite.
His arms lie on the deck they appear to be lengthening, growing, changing, and gaining suction-cups, as if tentacles, the first of his eight arms used for entangling what he will eat to exist.
One man understands and with the realization and a gasp knows his friend is becoming an Octopus.
In only a few horrid moments the thing that was a man then sets stuck to the ship deck, his body so changed and mind with it that the Octopus jets black ink juices, scrambling then in fear, trying to make its way back into the ocean and its mighty depths.
A squirt from some fire hose does the trick and one fisherman is given to the sea.
Vile and beastly manners turns to anger and vengeance for a fallen comrade. The sailors group together almost arm in arm as they swoop down upon the mermaid.
They get physical and show their vile intents as if worse than the beasts they act like, a few actually try to put themselves into her and give forth some of an infectious bile.
The mermaid is not to be touched in this unsightly manner and like the first man who would have accosted her, she sends three others into the ocean to contemplate their actions. One becomes before the others as a Dolphin, while two are sent to the doom as Sailfish.
A thump to the back of her head sends the mermaid into a black abyss. She is awaken as setting on a conveyor belt and was then cut open, sliced and diced and put piece by chunk into cans marked as if ocean tuna.
Her last fleeting breath was a curse upon any and all hat would open the can, and then to eat of her flesh.
Cursing she says to your terrified mind, "be you as was I, made ultimately into the food for your kind!"
