The party fled the freaky town of LavenGuard. They traveled down the road for half a day, until they finally came to another small town.
Joe discovered that his dragon was able to transform himself, and became a tall, flame-haired human male, so that he could walk through the town without attracting so much attention. They headed for the inn, which was in a state of some disrepair, and got rooms.
"Our adventuring career sure got off to a bad start," Christine commented, as they headed up the stairs.
"It could be worse," Joe replied, "That Wizard did say that he could have turned us into horseflies, after all."
"Hey!" protested Brian, "Easy for you to say! You didn't get turned into a weird elf-human hybrid, like me?"
"So now you're a half-elf?" Joe smirked.
"Actually," Christine offered thoughtfully, "he's really not. I mean, half-elves are a blending of human and elf. Brian is more of a combination of parts. He's got elf features, like his ears, but human ones too, like his... ehm... man parts..."
Joe laughed. "Those are only barely human. Dude is hung!" He slapped Brian on the back, laughing.
Brian tried to look stern, but he started to smile as well. "I could do elf porn, I guess," he laughed.
Feeling better, Joe, Brian, and Christine each went to their separate rooms. Mike was already in a special room down below, a room that was attached to the stable, but designed for centaurs, or other guests who didn't quite fit a normal room.
