Any spell you cast though Raxi would probaly just counter, without even giving Ruby an opening... Any spell.
You smile to yourself, as you realize something.
You run as fast as you can, which is pretty fast things to the inhuman speed spell. Your plan is to body slam right into Raxi. He may be able to counter magic, but that doesn't make him invulnerable.
Raxi turns to face you realizing your intention, but it's to late. He raises his hand to cast a spell, right as you slam into him. You manage to knock him across the room, and into a wall, also causing him to drop his book.
Unfortunately, the force of the impact effects you as well, and you end up dropping your own books. You forget about them for now, and quickly get back to your feet, at the same time, you see Raxi getting up, and pointing at you as if casting a spell. You quickly run to the side, as a jet of fire strikes where you were standing a moment ago. Then, once more you charge him, and slam into him, once more landing a solid hit. He may be some kind of powerful archmage, but he's not very good at defending himself physically.
Ruby while watching your fight, retrieves the Book of Mind that Raxi dropped.
You meanwhile continue your barrage of attacks on Raxi, trying to avoid letting him get up in case he cast a spell again. Eventually at one point when you knock him down, he doesn't get back up.
You stop, panting and watch him for a few moments, he doesn't appear to be moving at all.
"He's dead." Ruby speaks.
You turn to look up at her, and at the same time realize you may have made a mistake, as Ruby is now holding all seven books.
