Lina's mouth dropped open when she turned back to Amy. "Uh...umm...," she squeaked.
"What's wrong?" Amy asked.
"Your ears!" Lina said, pointing to them. "Look at your ears!"
Amy glanced at her reflection in the kitchen window. "What about them?"
"They're huge! Like dog's ears!"
Amy turned back to Lina. Her big furry ears flopped around among her hair. "You scared me for a second. I thought something was wrong."
"It is wrong! You have dog ears!"
Amy simply stared at her.
Lina was exasperated. "You're not supposed to have dog ears! You're not a dog!"
"Of course I'm not a dog," Amy chuckled. "I'm an anthro. You knew that when you bought me!"
"What?! I didn't buy you! Stop joking around."
Amy frowned and her ears drooped. "Lina, are you all right? You're freaking me out."
Lina couldn't think of anything else to say. How could Amy suddenly be acting as if this was all normal...unless the collar was doing something to her mind as well as her body? "We have to get your collar off. NOW."
