Hannah was lost in a dark haze for what felt like a half hour. She felt warm all over, but couldn't feel anything else. She couldn't move, either, and concluded in a brief split-second of clarity that she'd been further drugged now than however she got here.
A murmur woke her, and she opened her eyes to that light again. Nobody came out of the shadows this time, but somebody, more than one person was there. They were talking to each others. At least three voices, loud whispering.
She still felt warm all over, and knowing she was already restrained, she only moved her head, side to side, thinking, "No, this can't be real... why am I here?"
She suddenly felt able to move beyond her neck, and she lifted her head.
The room was still dark, but she could see that the three voices before her were wearing labcoats, bright white. Each had a rectangular shape two thirds of the way up, probably a clip board. One coat in the center seemed to stretch up much further, maybe two feet higher, than the others.
Hannah looked down from the shadow voices and their coats and glanced over as much of herself as she could see.
Her legs were free now, maybe this was a different table than before she was drugged again. Her clothes looked very different, also.
The scrub pants she had before, what she could recall, seafoam green was all she remembered about their appearance, were replaced by a pair of knee shorts that clung to her thighs. She would have smiled at how they showed off her thighs, but... well, she was in a dark room strapped to a lab table, and had no idea what was going on.
She looked further up at her self, curious for a split second about her now-exposed belly button, and then she felt warm all over again...
