Jared's legs felt stiff beneath her as the buck emerged from the trees, great antlers pressing back the branches as if they were arms. Their was a commanding appraisal in his eyes, as if he were chastising her from leaving his side that morning. There was also a peculiar aroma about him, one that tugged and pleaded with her nose and mind.
Unconsciously, Jared took a tentative step forward, hooves pressing down softly in the loam. The buck strode forward, chuffing at the wind, and came to stand beside her. Jared felt as if she could not remain standing, the world spun about her strangely, the trees a blend of brown, green, and red and yellow. Her heart trembled, tail shifting about behind her as the buck inspected her.
It was then, that Jared remembered something that one of her hunter friends had once told her. Deer, when they mate, do so for several days to make sure that the pregnancy takes hold. Jared was already pregnant, her inability to become her normal self again was proof of that. But here was the buck moving around, getitng himself in position again.
Jared breathed heavily, knowing that is she was going to avoid this, she would have to move within the next few seconds, or she would be beneath this beast once more. But her whole body yearned for the union, ached for it. Inwardly cursing herself, Jared wished for the strength to run, but her hooves felt as if buried in cement.
And then, she felt the buck's nose brushing against her thigh, and knew that this was the moment in which she had to decide.
