Alex Mundell, a 5'9", 23 year old college student, came to the Cardinals game to hang out
with some friends although he wasn't a big baseball fan. After the 3rd inning ended, he
decided he'd browse the stadium for a bit and get some refreshments, leaving his friends
behind. As he walked by the gift shop, he felt this distinct urge to walk in and browse
around.
Just behind the counter he saw the game worn jersey of Jason Beck, number 45. "That's
kind of cool," Alex thought, "it would be kind of neat to have." He continued browsing the
shop, but kept looking back at the jersey eventhough he really didn't even know who the
players were. After grabbing a souveneir Cardinals hat and approaching the counter, his
desire to have the jersey overcame him, and asked the clerk to ring it and the hat up for
him. "Would youl like it in a bag?" the clerk asked, with Alex answering "no, I think I will
just wear it today." With the jersey and hat in hand he left the souvenir shop and stopped
just outside to put them on.
"Dang, this jersey is big on me," was his first thought as he buttoned up the front. Then
as he put on the hat, he began to feel a tremendous pressure building up inside as if his
insides were going to burst. "Oh my god, what's happening to me?" he yelped, meanwhile
no one around him bothering to notice.
As the pressure continued to build, Alex also began to think about baseball even more.
"God it would be hot to play baseball.....it would be hot to look like a baseball player....I
want to play baseball....." is all he could think about. WIth his mind focused on baseball,
his body quickly began to realize his desire. Alex began to hear cracking noises as his
spinal cord, legs, and arms begin to lengthen to make him taller. He constantly has to
readjust and hold onto a nearby railing to steady himself as the growth accelerates. In
less than a minute he has become 6'4", gaining 7" in height. His feet and hands then
begin to grow to be proportionate, becoming a size 12 foot and hands of power.
"I need to be strong to throw the ball.......I need to hit homers out of the park......baseball
is life......." he continued to think as his muscles began to rapidly expand. Alex's pecs
quickly grew to become a shelf, meanwhile a six pack forms and his arms expand to 20"
around. The jersey fits tight around his torso, with the sleeves leaving just enough room
to be comfortable yet show off his size. He legs follow suit, becoming tree trunk size, with
ample sized calves as well.
"I want to catch.......I want to stand behind home plate......" Alex continued thinking as
more subtle changes began to appear. His shorts began to lengthen, quickly becoming
team issue baseball pants, with his socks lengthening and shoes becoming red Adidas
baseball cleats. His shirt under the jersey began to change as well, becoming a bright red
Under Armour compression shirt.
Next, his jersey began to change, leaving the name Mundell on the back and the numbers
change to #5. Just as the jersey finished changing, Alex's face began changing to be
slightly more masculine and growing a goatee. Meanwhile his #5 and a tribal tattoo began
forming on his arms just like the other transformed Cardinals players.
"Baseball is life.....I love to play catcher......I know how to play catcher...." Alex's mind
raced as he began learning how to play baseball with the knowledge flowing into his new
mind, and his muscles twitching constantly learning all of the moves. Catcher gear then
began to form on his body, with a catching glove, face guard, leg guards, and chest guard
quickly appearing, weighing him down slightly.
Just then Jason walked up behind Alex and asks "so how do you like your new purpose in
life?" "It fuckin rocks," Alex responded as they both run down back to the field to continue
playing in the 4th inning....with the fans oblivious that the hot new catcher used to be one
of them, an average Joe.
