"Well... maybe I will try one..." She mumbled to herself before picking up a vial again to read the cover. "Horse." It was indeed the same one that she picked up before. "Guess this one is asking me or something." Katie mumbled to herself taking the cap off of the vial. The aroma lifting from the vial was definitely the smell of alcohol. Katie was a pretty straight girl. It was not like she drank that much alcohol in her life. But some couldn't hurt she thought to herself bringing the vial to her lips before spilling it down her throat.
There was indeed some kind of alcohol in the vial. Katie could feel the warmth spread through her body warming her in the cool basement. The taste was strong like a liquor and caused her to cough a bit before regaining her composure. "Well at least Tiff wasn't her to-"
"Hey Katie!" Katie practically jumped out of her shoes at the sound of her friend coming down from the stairs. Katie hurries out of the hidden room to meet her friend at the bottom of the stairs. Tiff's eyes were adjusting to the dark and did not see where Katie came from. "Oh hi Tiff" Katie welcomed her friend ignoring the strange wave of tingling and dizziness washing over herself for a few seconds before going away.
"Umm... Nothing down here Tiff." Katie lied as the dizziness and tingling went away but the warmth stayed. Taking Tiff's hand to bring her up to the main house again. "Perhaps it is for the best if Tiff did not know about the hidden lab in the basement." Katie thought to herself. Tiff was saying something, but Katie ignored her before the two were up in the main floor where the two started again.
Katie let go of her friend and turned to her again when the sudden dizziness came back and the warmth heightened with the feeling of a bubbly tingling. "Katie? Are you listening to me?" Tiff asked holding up a vial. "You dropped this when you practically ripped my arm off..."
Katie wasn't listening too well. Something was wrong.
