TF Park North America

added by nothingsp 16 years ago O

...TF Park North America, which promised "woodland relaxation." You're not the sort of person who likes the outdoors a whole lot, but the woods are pretty and after all, it's a free vacation.

After a long drive, you arrive at the place where you're supposed to meet the shuttle. It arrives and you leave your car with a valet - this must be a pretty nice place for a woodland resort, you guess, if they give you valet service. Grabbing your bags, you hop in the shuttle.

The trip there is pretty but uneventful. Eventually, you pull up to a large building with the TF Park logo on it. A bagboy takes your things and you are directed to the lobby, where a cheery young lady checks you in and leads you to a small room with some chairs and a projector screen. She turns on the projector, and a presentation starts playing:

Welcome to TF Park - The Most Technologically Advanced Resort.

"TF," as some of you may already know, is shorthand for "transformation," which is what the TF Park chain of resorts is all about. Visitors are transformed into an anthropomorphic animal of their choice, as long as the species fits the ecosystem in which the particular park is located. They are then released into the wild for the duration of their vacation, during which time they may interact with other guests and the park's 24/7 anthropomorphic staff. At the end of their vacation, guests will be returned to their original form, though legislation is currently in the works allowing for transformed individuals to adopt their new form as their legal identity.

Species Choice

There are a wide variety of animal species found in the North American woodlands, from which guests are free to choose. Both predatory and non-predatory species are available. Guests wishing to choose a non-predatory species need not fear for their safety, as the wild, non-anthropomorphic predators in the park have been engineered to react adversely to an otherwise unnoticeable pheromone which non-predatory guest forms release.

Feeding

For herbivorous guest forms, feeding is a simple matter. TF Park North America does not contain any plants which are poisonous to any of its guest species, so herbivores may eat whatever they find, free from worry. For predatory guest forms, a little more explanation is required. Aside from the other guests, TF Park resorts contain significant numbers of wild animals as well. These wild animals serve to maintain the park's ecosystem. Predatory guests form an integral part of that ecosystem by culling the herds of the wild prey animals. In other words, predatory guests may feel free to kill wild animals when they are hungry. However, it is requested that predatory guests restrain their killing to only what they need to stay fed unless invited to do otherwise by the park's anthropomorphic staff, as the balance can be delicate at times and too many guests killing more than their share may cause problems.

Sexual Activity

TF Park recognizes that sex is a common vacation activity for many. Sexual activity is allowed, but guests will need to know how things work in the park. Sexual activity between guests is freely allowed, as long as it is consensual, however, guests should keep in mind that guest forms have complete reproductive function, so it is possible for guest-guest intercourse to result in pregnancy. For legal and ethical reasons, female mammalian guest forms do not experience heat cycles as their non-anthropomorphic counterparts do, nor do male mammalian guest forms react to the heat cycles of the park's wild animals. Intercourse with the park's wild animals is allowed as well, though there are some differences from guest-guest intercourse. First, conception in guest-wild intercourse is impossible, for legal and biological reasons. Second, although the park's wild animals may show interest in guests of the opposite sex, they have been engineered to not attempt intercourse unless a guest initiates it, for obvious legal and ethical reasons.

Emergency Situations

TF Park North America is the safest resort in the country, primarily because the guests are part of the park, blending in with nature as never before. However, things can still go wrong, and if they do, TF Park has a crack team of rescue specialists and medical personnel standing by to assist. Guests are monitored via sophisticated tracking devices, and will be assisted if they are ever in real danger. Still, guests are requested to use reasonable caution and common sense during their stay.

In Closing

TF Park is the most conceptually daring and technologically advanced resort line in the world, and TF Park, Inc. hopes that its guests will enjoy their stay.

You sit there, jaw dropped, for a minute. This has to be a joke, right? An elaborate promotional stunt for a much more mundane resort, perhaps. At any rate, they certainly couldn't be serious about the idea of a resort where guests are turned into anthropomorphic animals and left in the wild. The young lady returns and escorts you to a changing-room sort of place, a mirror, a clothes hanger, some sort of sci-fi-looking console and, oddly, two doors.

You look at the clothes hanger for a moment. Are you supposed to strip? Dismissing the idea as absurd, you turn your attention to the console. PLEASE REMOVE CLOTHING TO CONTINUE, the display screen reads. Touching the screen has no effect, and there don't seem to be any controls elsewhere on the console. Remove clothing to continue? How would it even detect that? You look around for a hidden camera, but find none. The whole thing seems remarkably absurd. However, since there's no camera and the doors lock from the inside, you don't see how stripping could hurt, and as long as you're here you might as well play along. You remove your clothes and carefully hang them up. The screen changes to what appears to be a new-form-selection menu. Maybe there was a weight sensor in the hook the hanger was on, you think.

Observing the menu, you see that it has several options - a gender selector, a species selector, and some minor options like stature and coloring adjusters. There is also a button marked "RANDOM." Although you are quite sure that this is an elaborate hoax, you play along, and choose...
