The girl continued to shrink. When she was only 4' tall, her glasses finally slipped off of her nose onto the book she held, which seemed to be growing increasingly large and heavy in her shrinking hands. Suddenly, her skirt dropped off of her narrowing waist. Looking confused and surprised, she put the book down on the floor and picked up her skirt with her left hand and her glasses with her right.
It was then that she noticed how big things were becoming in comparison to her. She could barely believe what she was seeing as she held a seemingly huge pair of glasses in her hand that had only moments ago fit her perfectly. At this point, she was just passing 3'6" tall, and only just then did she noticed how loose and baggy her clothes had become. Everything seemed many sizes too large for her. Her bra hung seemingly empty from her shoulders even though she could clearly still see the shape of her breasts underneath her rapidly expanding clothes. On her feet were a pair of shoes that fit her as well as shoe boxes. To her surprise, it became clear to her that she was shrinking somehow. The shock of this realization left her dumbfounded as she watched her self disappear into her increasingly large clothes.
Todd smiled, watching her shrink past child size into doll size. As she passed 3' tall, her right shoulder slipped through the neck hole of her sweater. She had let go of her skirt by this point since her sweater now hung down to her ankles. At 2' tall, she looked up at the increasingly high aisle of books she stood in. It felt more like an alleyway between buildings than an aisle of books in the library.
Then, her enormous sweater fell off of her left shoulder leaving her completely naked and only 1'6" tall. Her hands shot up to cover her breasts and crotch. Although she tried to keep standing in her now boat-sized shoes and wrinkled socks, she found she had to spread her legs wider and wider as the shoes seem to grow further apart from each other. At 1' tall, she lifted her right foot out if its shoe and sock and stood with both feet in her left shoe.
The shrinking slowed to a halt as she became just over 5" tall, only 1/12th of her normal size. Surrounded by her now giant clothes, she stood there in one of her own shoes on top of a rumpled sock, smelling the distinct odor of her own foot. She stood there inside of a shoe that was larger than she was, feeling so very tiny next to a book, which she had held in her hands only moments ago, that was now twice as tall as she was.
Todd smiled and chuckled to himself to see the doll-sized girl looking frightened and confused as she stared at the enormous world around her. He pondered what to do next with her next.
