As James spoke these words, he looked down and the beautiful woman with her head in his lap. As she snapped out of her dog trance, Wren began to realize what James had just said. He spoke with such conviction that she had no choice. She began to forget everything, her whole life as Will.
Wren quickly looked back on her life, which was slowly becoming more foggy. She remembered the road trip she took with James when she was Will. They toured the coast going from beach to beach, looking for babes. Soon something else overtook this thought. She and him were sitting alone a beach together, hand in hand. James had looked into her eyes for a good five minutes before getting enough nerve to kiss her. Before that they had just been good friends, despite the flirting.
"This isn't right", Wren thought. "That's not how it happened." Before she could finish the thought though, all memory of being Will had been erased from her mind.
James looked into Wren's gorgeous cobalt eyes, and smiled in satisfaction as they slowly glazed over. She blinked a few times, clearly thinking about something, but then a look of complete satisfaction came over her face.
Wren then got up off his lap, smiled and kissed him. She loved James more than anything in the world. She was so happy she started to cry. The two of them stood up, and James put his hand around her delicate shoulder. He realized something -- he didn't think of her as just a friend in a peculiar predicament to exploit, he thought of her as his girlfriend, whom he cared for greatly.
James now faced a difficult situation. He had two days before he had to go back overseas. Should he leave her as Wren forever? He could leave the country, but not go back to Japan. He could take her to Italy, or France, or Spain. They could live together forever, maybe even eventually marry.
But Wren also used to be his best friend, and he did have an obligation to go back to Japan.
As James held Wren in his arms, he contemplated his options.
