Amanda couldn't believe it. "I thought we could trust you! You are my friend!"
Samantha just smiled knowingly at us. "You'll enjoy it. I promise!"
I flopped my tail around so I could sit up and looked at Samantha. "Come on, Samantha. Stop screwing around. Change us back, please!" I begged." I had no intention of experiencing the life aquatic!
Samantha just grinned at us. "I like you two as mermaids. I think you should stay that way for awhile."
"WHAT?" I shouted. Before I could say anymore, Samantha was wishing again. "I wish Joey and Amanda were comfortable as mermaids and would not want to change back."
Amanda looked like she had a fog over her eyes for a second, and then she shook her head and jumped in the pool. I followed happily, eager to join my best friend.
"Care to join us, Samantha? All it takes is a wish!" Amanda waved at her friend. I wish she would join us, she thought. What could be more fun than living as a mermaid?
