Jake went to join the foot ball practice. Sitting on the bench he undressed for a hot shower. The medallion dropped out of his pocket and he fumbled as he tried to pick it up. "Damn thing, he thought, I guess the best way to keep you is to wear you." So he spread the chain and put it around his skinny neck.
He was so thin that the medallion hung down to his navel. Just then the Coach hollared, "Jake did you get the mascott back in his pen?"
"No Sir, but I'll do it right now!"
Jake wrapped a bath towel around his naked body and headed back to the lonesome parctice field. Standing tied to a stake was the mascott JoJo, the Tamworth boar.
The team was called The Tamworth Wild Boars. The town of Tamworth was the birthplace of the swine breed of the same name.
Jake untied the line and wrapped it around his wrist. "Come on JoJo we need to get you back to your pen, said Jake." The big boar looked passive at Jake, since it was at least four times the boy's weight.
Suddenly the big boar took off on the run toward the far pastured end of the field. Jake now attached by the line went along rather unwillingly. "STOP you damn animal, Jake shouted as he was dragged through grass and mud. Needless to say the bath towel was swiped away as Jake was dragged into high grass.
JoJo stopped to look through the wire fence as a fine group of sow grazing in the near pasture. Jake got to his feet and walked close to the big boar. Slipping his hand under the harness around the boar Jake tugged the boar back to the direction they just came.
The huge boar walked slowly along the small human, doing as he had so many times before. Jake looked down at his own naked body and said, " I could handle big hogs like you and be a better player for the team if I had muscle like you. I wish to Hell that I had tough smooth muscle like a boar hog!"
At that moment Jake felt a burning sensation. Looking down at his belly the Medallion was glowing red and hot. The grass being un cut all summer was quite high and suddenly Jake tripped. Falling forward he went face down in the high grass.
The wind knocked out of him he laid still till his head stopped spinning. Just then JoJo came close and stuck his nose in Jake's ass.
"Hey stop that you dumb animal, I ain't a hog!" The great beast stepped very close and stopped with his belly over Jake's chest.
Laying there Jake looked with one eye not covered by the boar's belly to see the curly tail rise in thrust. Suddenly a hot stream of boar hog urine poured across Jake's chest splattering into his face.
"Spit, sputter, you damn hog I wish I were a boar and we would come to terms, I stink as bad as Errrooink! Errooink! snort, snort, squeal!"
Strange animal sound came from his throat. The hugh beast stood his ground and moved not from on top of Jake. Squirming Jake wiggled and finally rolled out from under the big hog.
Stinking and wet of hog urine Jake reached for the line attached to the hog's harness. Touching the leather Jake saw his fingers, or what they had become. Two large cloven hooves were attached to bulging wrists and forearms.
Dark pig bristles sprouted as if like bee stings. Pain began as his skin felt on fire and stung by bee's. Tucking his knees to his chest he rolled in pain. Moaning changed to the oinking and squeal of a scared hog.
Stretching his legs in a sudden unbareable pain he felt the pain all but quit. Jake laid in the tall grass looking into the bright blue afternoon sky. A calm feeling ran through his body in relief of the pain stopping.
As he tried to sit up he found this to be impossible. He was stiff and sore, so he rolled to his side and got to all fours.
"Ahh he thought this feels OK!" Then he took notice of his forelegs and cloven hooves. Looking down and to one side his body bulged in true hog, boar, perfection.
Indeed he had somehow been changed into a kindred of the Boar who stood a couple of feet away. Looking at himself he thought JoJo and Jake could be seen by others as from the same birth. Jkae had muscle now but a hog body as well.
