Stephen was set on a doctor's bench. The man turned around and grabbed a long needle filled with green liquid. He turned aroud. "Let's begin..." he said, as he reached for Stephen. Stephen hung his head in dispair.
Just as the needle was hovering over his skin, a voice said "Stop...". The man turned to face an intercom in the wall, apparently confused. Stephen gave a sigh of relief. The voice said, "I have been watching this child. I think he should be reassigned." The man went over to the intercom. "Put him on the Alpha Serum." The man jumped back.
"The Alpha Serum?" he asked inquisitively. "Are you sure. The last one was killed, and this one isn't even half HIS endurance. Are you..?"
"Yes, Dr. Avery. I am certain." said the voice. "Put him on the Alpha Serum immediately."
There was a pause before Dr. Avery replied, "Yes Professor Coleman." There was a satisfied click as the intercom shut off. Death? Stephen wasn't sure he wanted to do this anymore. However, the choice was made for him. He tried to get up and out of here, but something on the table held him down. Dr. Avery grabbed a needle cointaining a booldy red serum and turned to face Stephen.
