In the corner there was a glass case that resembled a shower. There was a computer attached to it. Along the top, it was labeled Trans-Form. Tiff walked up to it. "Trans-Form... It must mean transform!" Katie inspected he computer. "I think the computer controls it." She typed some. "Come over here Tiff. This machine has options to change form of the person within the machine!" Tiff smiled. "So go in." "No way! You!" Tiff sighed. She pulled a coin out. "I am heads, you are tails." She flipped the coin.
Meanwhile Katie was looking at the computer. "Trans... transport?" She asked to herself. "Tiff! Forget the coin, this machine is linked to another machine. I think it is a teleporter!" With that, Katie hit the "on" switch. The machine started to hum and shake and a blue glow appeared in the case.
Both Katie and Tiff looked at each other. "Well... what now?" Katie almost whispered. She watched Tiff walked up to the door-like glow and reach in before retracting her hand. "Warm... and I could swear I felt a breeze Katie." Tiff spoke looking down at her hand making sure it was alright before facing Katie. "I think it is safe."
Katie walked up to her friend. "You sure?" Tiff grinned. "Well not quite but..." She took hold of Katie's wrist. "Well lets see!" Katie gasped as Tiff jumped through the portal and was pulled in as well. Everything went bright and Katie closed her eyes to let it adjust. Suddenly the air seemed more fresh and warm than the basement gave and a sound of crashing waves could be heard. "W-what?" Katie slowly opened her eyes to see the sun over her head and sand under her feet. Tiff was running along the coast.
"Katie! I can't believe it, it transported us to a island paradise!"
Katie was obviously more surprise than Tiff. But it was true. Both of them were on what appeared to be a rather large land formation but indeed appeared to be an island. But especially no-one occupied it either. She turned to see the machine behind her and sighed in releaf that it was possible to go back.
