"Ummm...." Carrie said, slightly uncertain of herself, "I think I might pass for tonight."
"Aww," cooed the waitress, "I hope you're not getting cold feet."
"No, it's not that," Carrie assured her, "I just don't know where my husband is...and...I...umm want to make sure this is right for me."
"Oh, I'm sure it's right for you," the waitress said, licking her lips, "Just looking at you, I can tell. You think you've had pleasure? You haven't had anything until you've changed!"
Carrie was a little taken aback by her waitress' new passionate demeanor. "Umm...wow," was all she could say.
Her waitress seemed to catch herself slipping, and took a deep breath, steadying herself before continuing. "Sorry about that, ma'am," she said, smiling uneasily. "Just...when the moon's this close to rising, it starts to...affect us."
