The temptation to hit her is great but you decide to swallow the pill. If this crazy place is capable of turning people into animals then you wonder what the punishment would be for someone trying to escape. With all that is going on around this weird place, your pretty sure that security must be magical and you would be powerless to fight against it. Besides, you’re pretty sure you can live up to the challenge; you just have to be extra careful. You finish getting dressed; you then pop the pill in your mouth and swallow.
The dancing girl lets out a small mocking laugh and asks you to leave this place right away. She opens the door to the room and two mean looking male security guards are waiting to escort you out of the park. As soon as you are out of the park, you jam a finger down your throat and try to puke out the pill. You try three times but they all result in failure so, you go find your car in the parking lot and drive straight back home.
As you get home your pretty sure with all that happened tonight that you won’t be able to fall to sleep. You sit in front of the TV and watch some late night movie and without even knowing it, you fall asleep. The next morning come around and you see the time on your VCR. You’re almost late for work. The events of last night just seemed like a dream, as you are busier thinking about work than anything else. You take a quick shower, get dressed and go take a normal day at work.
Two week passes and nothing of significance happens. You start thinking that maybe the pill was a dud or that lady was just pulling a fast one on you. Maybe you never change into a dog and were just hallucinating. Maybe the room was filled up with some sort of gas or even maybe your drink was spiked with some sort of drug. The more you keep thinking about it, the more you convince yourself that it was all a big joke on your expense. Well, they had succeeded for a while but now it was over. You needed to concentrate on the big meeting tomorrow morning. All the big bosses were going to be there and you had to make sure that your presentation was well received. This was the time to impress the bosses and try to get some sort of promotion.
You get up early in the morning, get dress with a business suit that you had prepared the night before and put on with snappy looking tie. You feel nervous as the hour to your big day comes closer. Your best friend at the office sees you just before the meeting and tells you some kind words that help you calm down. The meeting goes well and it’s finally our turn to present your stuff. You start off with a simple joke that everybody laughs and go seriously into your presentation. Thing are going well until you reach the middle of your speech. A familiar itching sensation was being felt all over your body and as a drop of sweat slides down the side of your face, you hope that you are wrong about the itchiness. Everybody looks at you as you fall silent.
