"I think I can help you with that," she says, "We'll just need to make a quick stop at the ranger station further in first, okay?"
"Yeah, that's fine with me," you reply, most of your nervousness calmed by her presence, comforted to no longer be alone in the woods.
She walks at a brisk pace, seemingly unbothered by the uneven terrain underfoot. You however, have to struggle to even keep up. "Whew," you gasp after a few minutes, "You mind slowing down?"
She stops, glancing at you with a smirk of self-satisfaction. "What's the matter?" she asks, "Not used to this much exercise?"
"I'm not normally one for long walks in the forest," you say, not particularly amused. "I drive most places for a reason."
She's suddenly tense, and you realize that you've offended her somehow. "You don't like the natural beauty of my forest?"
