Roger raced back to Mark's room as soon he was done with classes the next afternoon.
"OK, so here's what I was thinking," Roger said. "We can bet on a game on the Internet. Then project into one of the players on the team we need to lose and throw the game."
"Sounds good to me," Mark replied. "So which one of us is going to bet on the game?"
"Why not both?" suggested Roger. "That way we can both make money."
Mark thought for a moment about their plan. "I like it. I'm definitely in. So when should we try it out?"
"Well, why not tonight?" said Roger.
"Let's do it," agreed Mark as a sly smile crept across his face. This could really work, he thought. "So what should we bet on?"
"Let's see what's going on tonight," said Roger as he picked up a newspaper.
