You pull your arm to get it out, but it won't budge. You pull harder... harder... and then, with a wet SHLAP, manage to yank it out. Unfortunately, a chunk of latex has adhered to your hand. Fortunately, the momentum from pulling it out launches the latex off your hand, leaving it completely unscathed and unchanged.
As for that glob of latex, it flies across your room, hitting an empty cup. The impact is enough to send the cup soaring into the wall, off of which it ricochets into a stack of movies you'd borrowed for an at-home movie marathon. The movies fall over, a few of them landing on a skateboard left in the corner of the room by one of the friends you'd had over to watch the movies with, sending the helmet sitting on it to the opposite corner of the room. It hits a book, which then knocks over several others like dominoes, with the last hitting a baseball (again, left by a friend who came for the movie marathon). The ball rolls to the other end of the shelf, hitting a beer bottle (from yet another friend), which then plummets a few feet before shattering on your head. The impact isn't enough to surprise you, but it is enough to make you jerk your head away from its source... launching it neck-deep into the oozing hole in that latex monstrosity.
