"David J. Wheats, I saw the Add for a livery stable manager is it still open?"
Henry looked up in surprise to see the hardy man of about fiftyfive standing in the front of the Apothecary. Looking at his wife Henry saw she sported the waybill offering a job in the Livery Stable.
"Yes I think it still is open, come in a have a seat, said a happy Henry."
David walked briskly up to Henry's desk and sat down. "I would expect more pay than just room and board, said David. I think it must be a hard job and feel at least four hundred a week plus room an board."
Henry smiled, "I think from the look of your shoulders and arms that you would be able to handle the job. Room and Board, no problem! As four the four hundred a week I must see how you perform. I want you to run a horse-mule breeding farm as well we now have a fine bull. In your chores these additional duties will be included."
"Chores, no problem, but running a bunch of furry animals for sex I wouldn't want any part of, no way! If you want to help them have sex, then you take care to it, said a prowd man."
Mrs. Wifflephaffer walked over and offered David a refreshment drink. "I think you would do fine in the job, maybe we could give you a different view about animals being mated."
Henry smiled at his bright wife and sat back looking to see if David would drink and join the Wild West as stable manager.
"Well OK, said David as he chugged the glass of blue liquid."
"I'll show you where to bunk, and then I suggest a afternoon nap and we will give you the tour, a smiling Henry offered."
Off to the stable Henry and David walked with a jenny named Stella walking behind.
