You get the feeling you should be shocked to see Jeremy change from a water nymph to a green-skinned, green-haired elf archer (well, not really green-skinned, there's just a hint of green about her, like Vulcans on Star Trek,) but by now you're too jaded by the incessant transformations to do anything but blink confusedly. Shrugging it off, you pull the frying pan out of the fire and dish up the fish. After dinner, Jeremy doffs her mail, leaving her in only the leather undershirt and skirt, and you go to bed. It's weird, sleeping with your new breasts and tail for the first time, but you manage.
You wake up refreshed the next morning, so much so that you even go out and catch the fish yourself; you're not sure to what extent you're thinking like a cat now (or, perish the thought, thinking like a cat-woman,) but you're sure you couldn't pull that off as a human.
After breakfast, Jeremy puts on her equipment again, and the two of you decide to head off in search of a way home. Ona whim, you decide to go east, back into the forest. "We both came that way," Jeremy rationalizes. "Besides, after five years, I'm ready for a break from the ocean."
You walk for some time. Jeremy walks slightly ahead, apparently listening for anything; she really does seem more attuned to the forest. Eventually, you come across...
