David was lost. He'd taken the wrong turn and was now stranded in muddy streets surrounded on all sides by white canvas tents.
You could hear the constant hammering as new ramshackle buildings were hastily erected.Off in the distance gold miners and cowboys held their grubby hands around wenches and hookers.Free love and booze was in the air,as well as dust and the smell of horse manure.
The piano players were cracking out Oh Susana and the Chinese laundrymen stood by their tents calling out
"clean your shirt sir, clean your dress miss"
It was beside one of these laundry tents that David stopped. The smell of freshly starched cuffs was starting to overcome the smell of jenny in heat in his nostrils.
A old chinese fellow with a cane slowly came out of the tent and made his way to David. He stood beside David and looked at the odd marking on David's forehead and exclaimed
"Cricket,is this my cricket"
then the old guy turned around and called out to his nephew"Won Lin,come here,my Cricket has returned, come immediately"
A tall handsome fellow in his 20's came over, with a pair of pants draped over his arms.
He looked at David and grew excited when he saw the marking on David's forehead."Yes Ancient Old One,it must be him.The prophecy has come to pass."And the cricket will return in the lands to the east" so sayeth the prophecy"
The two men led David into their tent and led him past tubs of steaming water and through a flap at the end of the tent into

David brayed in confusion. One minute he had been in a tent in Laredo and now it looked like he was in an ancient chinese temple. On either side of a long hallway stood 2 rows of giant dragon statues, gold ones to the right, blue ones to the left
Flames periodically burst from their mouths and interlaced high above the walkway David and the two chinese were walking along. It formed a fiery canopy over their heads.
At the end of the hall was a altar,a throne and ancient mysterious artifacts.
And there were the virgins. They sang in sing song voices as they weaved in and out around the statues and other objects. As they flitted and flittered they weaved their gossamer robes in the air and giggled.
One ran up to the ass and lightly slid her silken robe over the donkeys back, which really cranked David's pump.
He probably would have ruined the illusion by braying, but the Ancient Old One spoke
"Let us Begin"
