John Gray walked back to the desk from the bathroom which, as a personal assistant, he shared with his boss. He was grinning.
So was his boss.
Their relationship was informal, so he began. "Something you're not telling me?"
"You noticed?"
"Usually when I go in there after you, the seat is down. Now, not so much. Finally acquired the only thing that makes life worth living?"
"I have to thank you for recommending that place. I don't know how they do it, but they do it."
"Can I see it?"
"It's, uh, still a little small. Maybe in a day or two."
"God, already worried about size. You really are a guy."
"Damn straight. You can start making the changes to records and announcing the change to staff, vendors and customers. I'm Ben Smith now."
John turned to his computer and sighed. It would be a long afternoon and evening.
