You finally muster up the courage to run in. Luckily you see a hearty metal pole lying on the sidewalk. You pick it up and viciously swing it at the dog like creature's head.
It's teeth scrape the man's skin as it is flung back by the force. The dog like creature wimpers in pain then runs off down an alley. But you can't worry about it now. The man is hurt and needs help, quickly! You feel sick, like you're about to pass out. Possibly from all the excitement. At any rate, you go to the man's side, checking his pulse.
"Must be knocked out... but still alive." You concluded, now taking out your cell phone and dialing for help.
You get up and turn around, and look up at the moon, waiting for someone to pick up the phone. All you hear is the ring of the phone and what sounded like rustling. But you ignore it for now, only concentrating on trying to get your breath steady.
"Hello?" A plain woman's voice answers.
"Yes!" You exclaim. "I need help! A man was inju..."
You were cut off by a large, bloody, hairy hand taking the cell phone and crushing it as if it were nothing. You are startled and jump back to get a look at whatever it was. It was the man. But for some reason, he looked different. In the dim light, it seemed his shirt was ripping further. You saw his muscles started to swell larger and became tighter, then was starting to get covered in thick, dark hair. You were stunned from actually witnessing something you would have believed to be farfetched.
His hands seemed to get larger, with dark nails starting to protrude from his finger tips. And his mouth became askew, revealing shiny white teeth that seemed to be growing sharper and longer. All of this was accompanied by a sickening sound of grumbles, it hits you... he is turning into something similar to the creature that had bit him!
Fearing your own safety now, you run down an alley way hoping to escape. But you don't know if you're going to run into a dead end or not...
