You gaze fondly and pant contentedly at the next door neighbor's Old English Sheepdog. Now that you are halfway there to be a real sheepdog yourself, you feel your canine instincts come to the fore. You want a mate. Smiling a toothy smile, you open up the window all the way. You stop for a moment and sniff the air for new and exciting scents. So many wonderful scents in the air. So many sounds to listen to. But your mate to be awaits. You climb out of the open window and out of your house. You gaze at the other sheepdog and then drop to all fours again. You begin to make your way from your territory and into hers. And as you shuffle your way over to her, you can the changes resume. This time they are taking you further and further away from your former life. You are becoming a real Old English Sheepdog. You are halfway there when the other sheepdog notices you. She gets up onto all fours and looks at you. And then she woofs happily as you trot up to her and sniff her. You notice dimly that you are now the same size as your mate. You are a sheepdog just like her now. As your human thoughts dwindle away, you wonder how your next door neighboor will like having two Old English Sheepdogs instead of one. You hope that he and his family will like you. And then you and your mate settle down for a nice nap on the grass.
