"Look...I just want to get back home," you tell him.
"I don't want any trouble, I don't want a war. I just want to go back home."
He snickers at you. "I think it's a little late for all that, don't you? And I already told you, anyone who has come through from your world doesn't have any way back home. You're stuck. Since you're stuck, you're gonna have to pick a side. Why don't you pick the winning one? Come on, man, just try a thorn."
You hear soft footsteps approaching, and a girl's voice, "Hey Mike, who's your new friend?" she asked, coming out of the woods to your left. She's a willowy red head, thinly built and tall. She smiles at you, licking her lips seductively, her eyes full of lusty promises.
"Yeah, Mike, who's your friend?" comes another female voice, and a stockier, but still quite attractive brunette emerges from the woods to your right. She's slightly shorter than the redhead, with raven-black hair streaked with deep and bright purple chunks.
"That's a good question," the guy apparently named Mike says, "What is your name? I never got it."
"It's Chris," you reply.
"He's from the other plane, the one we're gonna take next," Mike says excitedly.
The girls both smile at you, the redhead still licking her lips. "So," asks the redhead, "You gonna try thorn tonight?"
"Uhh..." you mumble.
While you stammer for an answer, the brunette interrupts. "Mikey...I thought I heard you howling a few minutes ago....but I guess that was someone else, huh?"
"No, I was a dumbass...I took my shoes off, you know...to feel the grass beneath my feet and all, and I slipped on a tree root. I spilled the basket of thorns, and when I stood up, one went into my foot. Genius here came along and pulled the thorn out."
"Aww, aren't you so nice?" the brunette cooed at you, slightly mocking.
"He's a brave one," the redhead said. "I like the brave ones." She slinks over to you, leaning in, whispering in your ear, "So..you gonna try thorn tonight, tough guy?"
