The now 3 foot Tim had to do something before he was too small to use the chest. He put another random key and tried all the buttons. The one with the arrows going in every direction was the only one that worked.
As he pressed it, he felt a sense of growth - but it wasn't his size! Grey hair was sprouting all over his body, and a long tail was growing out the base of his spine. His fingers and toes grew long and nobbly, growing nails. His ears grew to huge size and his face sprouted a whiskered muzzle.
He had become a wererat!
