“You know, our contract says we only need to be nudists when we’re interacting with the guests.” Said a female half-human husky to her male co-worker. “So I don’t get why you guys insist on going around naked.”
Thankfully from where the huskies were watching events unfold, or were just being informed of such things that warranted their attention, the ‘locals’ as some referred to the park guests as, couldn’t hope to hear their discussion.
Her co-worker just lay back, giving her a full view of his sheath. She’d have reacted more adversely if she hadn’t already seen it all before. She had seen more men’s business and other women’s figures in her first week working here than she had the rest of her life.
He spoke in a relaxed and cool voice that matched his posture perfectly. “One, we have fur, so we’re not really ‘naked’ in the precise meaning of the word, remember the Wookie rule. Second, we’re emergency workers, so it’s best to be prepped to move on a moment’s notice. And third, our contract says we can go around in the fur as much as we like while on the job, so why not?”
She huffed, she crossed her arms over the one-piece dress she wore, the only thing she could get that didn’t pinch her tail and still covered her privates. “One, naked is supposed to be ‘without clothes on.’ Second, I think the ‘need to be naked when with the guests’ is stupid –because- we’re emergency workers here. And third, I sometimes feel like we’re being treated like trainees to some cult!”
“You’re exaggerating. That non-discloser contract we sign only refers to not giving away –technological- secrets about the park. Not giving away that the park exists in the first place!”
“I still think it’s creepy. Too many of the funders for this park like to keep themselves hidden. I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t work out in the open.”
“Just don’t ruin the mood for this fight, me and Zack have a bet on the winner.”
“Ha! Like you have anywhere to spend it until your service contract is up.”
“If you think so negative about this place, why’d you take the job in the first place?”
“It was the first thing I spotted that fit my criteria in the want ads and my rent was over due.”
